Imagine if funding applications were easier.

Each year, governments across Australia offer billions of dollars in grant and incentive funding to drive growth, sustainability and social outcomes across the economy. This money helps create new jobs, launch emerging technologies, build community projects and power industrial change.

However, it’s not always easy to access. The truth is that government funding is competitive and can be complex and convoluted to win. So, if you’re serious about gaining game-changing funds, you need to be strategic. You need to understand government priorities and processes. You need to be pitch precise.

At GrantWise, that’s exactly what we help you become.

There are significant opportunities in the current environment.

Examples of current programs are:

Powering our Regions  - Safeguard Transformation Scheme

With $1.9 billion in funding across multiple programs, the cornerstone initiative supports decarbonisation in heavy industry through new technological investment. Given the scale of the opportunity, competition is fierce and project strategy becomes critical.

Growing Our Regions Program

This program follows a legacy of funds supporting infrastructure growth in regional Australia. Another competitive program. Successful projects must demonstrate detailed planning with the project benefits extending to a broad spectrum of the community.

Defence Industry Development Grants Program

This program incentivises the development of new technologies to meet Defence capability needs and encourages industry-wide collaboration. The Defence Industry Development Strategy heralds a range of opportunities for this important sector.

National Reconstruction Fund

This cornerstone $5 billion fund provides debt finance, equity and guarantees to seven key industries. As a government-backed entity, policy outcomes are a feature of the investment criteria and finance could be used in combination with other incentive funding.

Cooperation Research Centres – Projects (CRC-P)

At 16 rounds, this successful program supports industry/research collaborations for new technologies. Extremely competitive, grants up to $3 million are awarded to projects which demonstrate excellence in groundbreaking research innovation and a pathway to commercialisation.

Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA)

Now in its twelfth year, ARENA has supported the uptake of pre-commercial innovation in renewable, clean energy and energy efficiency technologies. Current priorities include transition to renewable energy, low emissions metals, commercial hydrogen, and transport decarbonisation.

Aged Care Assistance Program

This $605 million program funds critical accommodation infrastructure targeting high needs communities. The current round is aimed at projects in regional centres, very remote communities and metropolitan area targeting first nations people.
